These rules are in place to protect our guest, our staff, the wildlife and the environment. We aim to ensure that all campers and guests can enjoy their time at Long Beach Campground and ask that these rules are respected at all times.

All campers and visitors must check in at the campground office upon arrival.
The registered guest is responsible for the actions of everyone staying at or visiting their site.
Quiet Hours & Respect for others
Quiet hours re from 11:00pm until 8:00am
Everyone comes camping to enjoy nature. Please be respectful of your neighbors at all times.
Music must always be kept at a reasonable volume and must never disturb neighboring campsites.
Loud music, shouting, yelling, excessive profanity, or other disruptive behavior that interferes with another guest’s enjoyment of the campground is not permitted at any time.
During quiet hours, voices should be kept to normal conversation levels.
Generator hours are 9:00am - 9:00pm only. Generators must have proper spark arrestors and mufflers and should be operated only when necessary.
NOISE VIOLATIONS
A $50 Noise Violation Charge may be issued for excessive noise or complaints from neighboring campsites.
Charges may be assessed per person involved.
Repeated or serious disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Bear Safety
Every campsite must remain free of wildlife attractants at all times.
The following items must never be left unattended outside, especially overnight:
Coolers (including empty coolers or those containing only drinks or ice).
Food, garbage, dirty dishes, cooking equipment, pet food, recycling, any other item that could attract wildlife
Please note: Even an empty cooler or one containing only beverages is considered a wildlife attractant and is not permitted to remain unattended.
During overnight or early morning security patrols, campground staff will collect unsecured coolers and other wildlife attractants. If necessary, staff will wake campers to have these items properly secured.
ADDITIONAL BEAR SAFETY RULES:
Never feed or approach wildlife.
Dispose of all garbage in designated dumpsters immediately.
Keep your campsite clean throughout your stay.
These rules exist to protect both our guests and the wildlife that lives here.
Site Cleanliness
Campers are expected to leave their campsite clean and in its original condition throughout their stay.
The following are prohibited:
Leaving garbage, food waste, bottles, cans, paper, or other debris anywhere on your site.
Leaving any garbage (including paper products) in your fire pit.
Moving picnic tables.
Moving fire rings/fire pits.
Leaving rope or straps attached to the trees after departure.
Damaging trees or vegetation.
A $20 Site Cleaning Fee may be charged for any of the points listed above.
Campfires
Campfires are permitted only in designated fire rings and must follow any active fire restrictions.
Fires must never be left unattended.
Unattended pits must be completely extinguished and cool to the touch.
Before leaving your campsite or going to bed, your fire must be completely out.
Do not burn garbage, food waste, plastics, cans, or bottles
Do not collect driftwood, branges, sticks, or firewood from anywhere on the property or surrounding rainforest.
Do not cut or damage trees or vegetation.
UNATTENDED FIRE PENALTY
Any unattended fire may result in an immediate $100 fine and additional action if staff are required to extinguish it. All provincial or local fire bans must be obeyed immediately.
Vehicles & Additional Camping Units
One camping unit per campsite. (RV, Campervan, Trailer).
Guests are permitted to share a site with one additional tent at no additional fee.
Maximum speed: 10km/h in campground
Please watch carefully for children, pedestrians, wildlife, and golfers.
Maximum of two vehicles per campsite.
Pets
All pets are welcome!
Pets must remain on a leash at all times and should not be left unattended.
Owners must clean up after their pets immediately.
Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or uncontrolled pets will not be tolerated.
Sewage & Grey Water
Unauthorized dumping is strictly prohibited.
No not dump:
Grey water
Black water
Sewage
Dishwater
Wastewater of any kind
onto the ground, into ditches, storm drains, or anywhere on the campground property.
UNAUTHORIZED DUMPING FINE
Violations cay result in fines up to $500, immediate eviction, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
Property Restrictions
The following are strictly prohibited:
Trespassing on occupied campsites or other restricted areas.
Entering the golf course unless you have paid the required green fee and are actively golfing.
Entering the airport property. Airport property is federally regulated, and trespassing may constitute a federal offence.
Wandering into the surrounding rainforest. Please remain within the designated campground areas and established pathways.
ATV’s, fireworks, firearms, or illegal activities.
Washing dishes or clothing in campground washrooms.
No more than 6 guests per campsite.
Emergencies & Security
Security is provided by Long Beach Campground staff, Tofino Bylaw Services, and the RCMP.
For police, fire, or medical emergencies, call 911.
Guest Agreement
By staying at Long Beach Campground, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to follow these campground rules.
The registered guest accepts responsibility for everyone staying at or visiting their campsite. Failure to comply with campground rules may result in the following:
Site Cleaning Fee - $20
Noise Violation Charge - $50 (per person where applicable)
Unattended Fire Fine - $100
Unauthorized Sewage or Grey Water Dumping - Up to $500
Immediate eviction without refund.
Refusal of future reservations at the discretion of management.
ATTENTION CAMPERS OF LONG BEACH:
We have changed our rule violation fine from $50 per site to $50 per guest per site for the following reasons:
· OVERFILLING OF SITES WITH UNREGISTERED GUESTS.
· DISREGARD FOR PARKS CANADA’S BEAR AWARE PROGRAM.
· EXCESSIVE NOISE AND PARTYING.
